The Corona virus - Christ says: “Yes, I am coming soon”

Has any living human being ever experienced something quite like this? Just one small act by our heavenly Father in a relatively unknown Chinese city brings everything in the world to a halt. Everyone must stop in their tracks!

Even the greatest world powers with millions of people has lost some control. Mighty rulers with all their promises for the future are now at a loss for words.

Rules and regulations and health and safety precautions are important, and the Word of God tells us to obey the authorities.

BUT …

When will the leaders of the world recognise that only God who created heaven and earth, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, is able to deliver us from the Corona virus? No other idol or false god have the authority!

We have no choice than to fall down on our knees and pray to the only living God – this does not exclude the non-Christians like the Muslim, Buddhist, Hindu and all the others. Some of these non-Christian leaders openly state that the Corona virus was sent by Satan. The question we should however be asking is this: Are we praying to the only God through Jesus Christ? The God who sent this virus?

Jesus Christ gives the people of this world five signs of his Second Coming:

1. Wars and rumours of wars (Matt.24:6)

2. Famine (Matt. 24:7)

3. Earthquakes in various places (Matt. 24:7)

4. Pestilences and pandemics (Matt. 24:7)

5. Troubles (Mark 13:8 KJV)

The intensity of these signs will increase as we get closer to Jesus Christ’s Second Coming, even though we don’t know the exact date. The First World War (1914-1918) was fiercer and more intense than the Napoleonic wars at the start of the 19th century. The Second World War (1939-1945) was more intense and devastating than the first.

The Second World War came to an end in August 1945 with the atom bomb in Japan. The “Third World War” again might (we don’t know this yet) in contrast, start with a nuclear attack.

What should we as Christians do? Pray by reciting the second last verse of the Bible:

“Amen, Come, Lord Jesus!”
